A physiatrist examination includes taking medical history and a physical examination of the musculoskeletal system, a concluding opinion with diagnosis, and the creation of a treatment plan. The examination includes an assessment of the spine, spine mobility, reflexes, range of motion, sensation, muscle strength, and motor skills. The specialist physiatrist examination applies to joints (e.g., knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, hands, wrists, ankles, feet) as well as ligaments, tendons, meniscus, muscles, fascia, and soft tissues. Please bring previous medical findings and scans to the appointment, if available.

Vesna Bilandžić, MD, specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, has been working at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with Rheumatology (KBC Split) since 2012. At our polyclinic, she performs comprehensive examinations for adults and children, with extensive experience in working with children with neurodevelopmental difficulties.
